Dental fit-outs Perth

Dental fit-outs, done right.

Every dentist works a little differently, from the chairs they choose to the drawers they reach for. We build each dental fit-out around those preferences, with the plumbing and shielding planned from the outset. Talk to us before you sign a lease, and we'll tell you what your site can handle.

What’s involved in a dental fit-out

What we plan before the build

  • We assess the site before you commit, from power supply and drainage to parking and disability access.
  • We confirm your chair type and equipment early, so all dental surgery fit-outs are designed around what's being installed.
  • We work through the cabinetry with you and your architect, from drawer depth to bins built into the benchtop.
  • We coordinate the shielding for any OPG or X-ray room with your equipment supplier.
  • Your architect runs the planning application and council approval, backed by our input on what the building can take.

Our process

  1. A corridor in a building being assessed

We start with a site assessment.

We check all of the crucial details before you commit to a lease, since those are what decide whether your site will work the way your staff and your patients need it to.

  2. Steel wall framing during a fit-out

We settle the equipment before the design.

The position of your equipment decides where the plumbing, trenching, and shielding go. We confirm them with you and your supplier before the layout is finalised.

  3. A finished CT room ready for handover

We manage every trade through to handover.

For every dental fit-out in Perth, we bring in reliable, experienced consultants and subcontractors, keep each stage on schedule, then walk you through the finished space, ready to move in.

Tell us what you’re planning. We’ll tell you what it takes.

Common questions about dental fit-outs

How much does a dental practice fit-out cost?

It depends on the site and the equipment going into it. Your chairs and the trenching they require, any shielding for an OPG or X-ray, your cabinetry preferences, and the building's existing power capacity all shape the quote. We can visit your site before quoting, so you get a figure based on your actual space.

How long does a dental clinic fit-out take?

Our clinic fit-outs tend to take three to five months to build, plus at least three months beforehand for design and approvals. We recommend allowing around six months from start to finish.

Does my dental clinic need X-ray shielding?

If you're installing an OPG or an X-ray unit, yes. Like a radiology room, it has shielding requirements to protect staff and patients. Your equipment supplier and a physics engineer work out what's needed, and we build to their specification as part of the dental fit-out.

Do I need to choose my dental chairs before the design?

Yes. Chairs are usually plumbed into the floor, which means chasing and trenching through the slab. The chair you choose for your dental clinic design decides where that plumbing does. As a result, it needs to be settled before the room is designed.
